Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Built Bezel only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the platform. You must not use the platform in any way that is harmful, offensive, or disruptive.

You must not list or attempt to sell:

• Counterfeit, replica, or fraudulently described watches.
• Stolen goods or items subject to a finance agreement or court order.
• Items listed on our Prohibited Items list.
• Items that you do not legally own or have authority to sell.
• Items linked to sanctioned individuals, organisations, or jurisdictions.

You must not:

• Harass or threaten: Send abusive, threatening, or discriminatory messages to other users, Built Bezel staff, or any third party through the platform.
• Circumvent fees: Attempt to conduct transactions introduced through Built Bezel outside the platform to avoid fees or buyer/seller protections (see anti-circumvention clause in Buyer Terms and Seller Terms).
• Scrape or harvest data: Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract data from the platform without our express written permission.
• Spam: Send unsolicited commercial messages or promotional content through the platform's messaging system.
• Create multiple accounts: Register more than one account, or create a new account to evade a suspension or ban.
• Impersonate: Pretend to be another user, a Built Bezel employee, or any other person or entity.
• Submit false information: Provide false identity, contact, or listing information.
• Manipulate reviews or trust signals: Attempt to artificially inflate ratings, create fake transactions, or solicit false reviews.
• Interfere with the platform: Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise disrupt the platform.
• Infringe intellectual property: Upload content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Money laundering: Use the platform to launder money, finance terrorism, or conduct any other illegal financial activity.

In addition to the above, sellers must not:

• Use stock images instead of photographs of the actual item being sold.
• List the same item multiple times simultaneously.
• Accept payment outside the platform for a transaction that originated on Built Bezel.
• Cancel orders repeatedly to manipulate pricing or availability.
• Misrepresent condition, provenance, service history, or included accessories.

Any content you upload — photographs, listing descriptions, messages — must not:

• Be false, misleading, or deceptive.
• Contain offensive, discriminatory, or sexually explicit material.
• Include personal contact details (phone numbers, personal email addresses) in public-facing listing descriptions.
• Infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.

If we determine that you have violated this policy, we may take any of the following actions, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation:

• Issue a formal warning.
• Remove the offending content or listing.
• Temporarily suspend your account.
• Permanently terminate your account and ban your associated email address, IP address, and device identifiers.
• Withhold any outstanding funds pending investigation.
• Report the matter to law enforcement, Trading Standards, or the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as appropriate.

We will use our discretion in applying these measures. Our enforcement decisions are final for the purposes of the platform's internal process and do not affect your statutory rights.

If you believe another user is violating this policy, please report it to contact@builtbezel.com with as much detail as possible. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
